Mit dem Testen von Bekleidung ist es immer so eine Sache, denn zum einen sind die Schnitte oft unterschiedlich und zum anderen haben wir natürlich individuelle und ganz eigene Erwartungen, was so ein Teil leisten soll/muss. Um das herauszufinden, braucht es Zeit und man muss schon damit unterwegs sein, um die Vorzüge wirklich zu erfahren.
Halvarssons Holmen Urban Textiljacke
Halvarssons ist ein Skandinavischer Hersteller aus Schweden, der seit 1946 den Markt bedient und faktisch in allen Bereichen der Motorradbekleidung vertreten ist.
Die Holmen überzeugt durch ihre Leichtigkeit, ihren hervorragenden Tragekomfort und ist mit einer Dryway+2.0 Membran ausgestattet und somit wasserdicht. Das gewachste Obermaterial ist hochwertig und die Lederapplikationen runden den klassischen Look ab. Die Belüftung der Jacke erfolgt über zwei Brusttaschen auf der Vorderseite und eine größere Entlüftung im Rückenbereich.
Sicherheit
Neben dem langen Verbindungsreißverschluss bietet die Halvarssons Holmen Jacke eine HI-Art Verstärkung im Schulter- und Ellbogenbereich sowie verstellbare Level 2 Schulter- und Ellbogenprotektoren, die auf Wunsch mit Brust- und Rückenprotektoren ergänzt werden können (Achtung letztere sind NICHT im Lieferumfang enthalten). Dies macht aus sicherheitstechnischen Gründen auch auf jeden Fall Sinn, nicht nur wenn die Jacke für größere Touren verwendet wird.
Nutzbarkeit
Wir sehen die Jacke allerdings eher im Stadtverkehr und auf der Feierabendtour bei Temperaturen zwischen 15 und 22 Grad. Darunter wird es merklich kühl auf der Haut, darüber richtig warm, weil die Luftzirkulation durch die Membran eingeschränkt ist.
Fazit
Wer eine wirklich stylische und gut ausgestattete Motorradjacke im klassischen Stil sucht, sollte die Halvarssons Holmen definitiv in die engere Auswahl nehmen und den Tragekomfort am eigenen Leib testen. Die Textiljacke ist im Netz bereits ab rund 300 Euro zu haben und das ist sie unserer Meinung nach auch wert. An Farben gibt es die Grüne und eine Graue Variante und das Ganze in den Größen 48-62. Zwei Brust, zwei Seiten und eine Innentasche, sowie eine einfache Bundverstellung runden die Ausstattung der Jacke ab.
RST Moto IOM TT Crosby 2 Textiljacke
Die IOM Crosby 2, benannt nach einem kleinen Ort auf der Isle of Man, ist eine klassisch gestylte Baumwoll-Canvas-Jacke, die in schickem Vintage-Grün oder klassischem Schwarz erhältlich ist. Sie zeichnet sich durch ein herausnehmbares Thermofutter, eine verklebte Inlay-SinAqua-Membran und ein festes Mesh-Innenfutter aus. Der Tragekomfort ist aus unserer Sicht weiter geschnitten und dadurch extrem bequem.
Sicherheit
Ellenbogen- und Schulterprotektoren des Levels 1 sind die Grundausstattung der Jacke. Aber auch hier empfiehlt es sich, den Rückenprotektor nachzurüsten (Auch hier NICHT im Lieferumfang enthalten), um die Sicherheit zu erhöhen. Als echten Vorteil der Jacken sehen wir die flexible Weitenverstellung an Bund und Ärmeln sowie die Nutzung stabiler Druckknöpfe.
Nutzbarkeit
Mit der Corsby 2 kann man auch bei Temperaturen unter 15 Grad beruhigt reisen. Das herausnehmbare Thermofutter leistet hier eine sehr gute Arbeit. Bei höheren Temperaturen wird es allerdings etwas ungemütlicher, da große Belüftungsöffnungen leider fehlen und somit die Belüftung und Entlüftung nicht optimal gelöst ist. Mit 2 Außentaschen, die jeweils mit einem Druckknopf verschließbar sind, 2 Reißverschlusstaschen und 4 Innentaschen bietet die Jacke reichlich Stauraum für Utensilien.
Fazit
Wer also einen bequemen und gleichzeitig textilen Klassiker aus der RST TT Kollektion haben möchte, macht mit der IOM Corsby 2 keinen Fehler. Die 100%tige Baumwolljacke ist in den Größen S bis 3XL ab 199 Euro im Handel erhältlich und das ist sie mit jeder einzelnen Baumwollfaser definitiv wert. Für uns ist sie eine vollwertige Ganzjahresjacke mit leichten Abstrichen bei höheren Außentemperaturen aufgrund der fehlenden Belüftung.
Germot Jacke Urban Herren Hunter
Die Germot Hunter liegt im mittleren Preissegment der Jacken. Dabei ist sie mit einem Kaufpreis von ca. 250 Euro ebenfalls sehr gut ausgestattet. Zu ihren Eigenschaften gehört, dass sie sowohl wasser- und winddicht als auch atmungsaktiv, abrieb- und reißfest ist. Ausgestattet mit der HUMAX Klimamembran ist sie somit eine sehr gute Übergangsjacke. Der Tragekomfort ist mit dem der RST vergleichbar, während die Halvarssons insgesamt leichter, aber auch enger geschnitten wirkt.
Sicherheit
Auch die Germot Hunter ist mit Ellbogen- und Schulterprotektoren der neuesten Generation ausgestattet und sollte beim Kauf mit einem Rückenprotektor ergänzt werden. Auch sie kann in der Taille und an den Ärmeln verstellt und damit individuell angepasst werden. Natürlich verfügt auch sie über einen Verbindungsreißverschluss als weiteres Sicherheitsfeature.
Nutzbarkeit
Die Hunter ist eine tourentaugliche Jacke, wenn wir uns in Temperaturregionen zwischen 15 und 35 Grad bewegen. Leider fehlt ihr entsprechendes Innenfutter, das den Einsatzbereich noch erweitern würde. Die Belüftungsreißverschlüsse sind im Vergleich zu den anderen Jacken effektiver, was gerade bei wärmeren Temperaturen von Vorteil ist. Auch sie verfügt über diverse Taschen. Insgesamt 4 Außentaschen und eine wasserdichte Innentasche. Beim Material weicht sie deutlich von der RST ab und setzt in allen Bereichen auf 100% Polyester.
Fazit
Die Germot Hunter ist eine vielseitig einsetzbare Motorradjacke im klassischen Stil mit guter Ausstattung. Die Passform ist bequem und dennoch sportlich. Farblich bleibt Germot auf der Linie, denn die Jacke ist in den Größen M bis 5XL in Heritage Olivgrün und edlem Schwarz erhältlich. Auch sie ist ihren Preis in jeder Hinsicht wert.
Am Ende eines solchen Tests zählt bei allen Jacken natürlich das persönliche Wohlbefinden und nicht jede Jacke ist für jeden Fahrer die Richtige. Aus unserer Sicht hat jede der drei ihre Vorzüge, aber auch Potenzial nach oben was es vollkommen unmöglich macht eine Platzierung zu definieren. Leider vermissen wir wie bei so vielen Bekleidungsstücken im Motorradbereich auch hier die Damenversionen.
In diesem Sinne habt viel Freude beim selbst testen und genießt die Saison 2025.

Triple Green Heritage jackets put to the test.
Testing clothing is always a tricky business because, on the one hand, the cuts are often different and, on the other, we naturally have our own individual expectations of what a piece of clothing should/must do. It takes time to find out and you have to be out and about in order to really experience the benefits.
Halvarssons Holmen Urban textile jacket
Halvarssons is a Scandinavian manufacturer from Sweden that has been on the market since 1946 and is represented in virtually all areas of motorbike clothing.
The Holmen impresses with its lightness, excellent wearing comfort and is equipped with a Dryway+2.0 membrane, making it waterproof. The waxed outer material is of high quality and the leather applications round off the classic look. The jacket is ventilated via two chest pockets at the front and a larger vent at the back.
Safety
In addition to the long connecting zip, the Halvarssons Holmen jacket offers HI-Art reinforcement in the shoulder and elbow area as well as adjustable Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors, which can be supplemented with chest and back protectors if required (please note that the latter are NOT included). For safety reasons, this makes sense in any case, not only if the jacket is used for longer tours.
Usability
However, we tend to wear the jacket in city traffic and on after-work rides at temperatures between 15 and 22 degrees. It gets noticeably cool on the skin underneath and really warm on top because the air circulation is restricted by the membrane.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a really stylish and well-equipped motorbike jacket in a classic style, you should definitely shortlist the Halvarssons Holmen and test its wearing comfort for yourself. The textile jacket is available online from around 300 euros and, in our opinion, is well worth it. The jacket is available in green and grey and in sizes 48-62. Two chest pockets, two side pockets and an inner pocket, as well as a simple waistband adjustment, round off the jacket’s features.
RST Moto IOM TT Crosby 2 textile jacket
The IOM Crosby 2, named after a small town on the Isle of Man, is a classically styled cotton canvas jacket that is available in chic vintage green or classic black. It is characterised by a removable thermal lining, a bonded inlay SinAqua membrane and a fixed mesh lining. In our opinion, it has a wider cut and is therefore extremely comfortable to wear.
Safety
Level 1 elbow and shoulder protectors are included as standard with the jacket. However, we also recommend retrofitting the back protector (also NOT included) to increase safety. We see the flexible width adjustment at the waist and sleeves and the use of sturdy press studs as a real advantage of the jackets.
Usability
With the Corsby 2, you can travel with confidence even at temperatures below 15 degrees. The removable thermal lining does a very good job here. At higher temperatures, however, it becomes a little more uncomfortable, as there are unfortunately no large ventilation openings, which means that ventilation and air extraction are not optimised. With 2 outer pockets, each of which can be closed with a press stud, 2 zip pockets and 4 inner pockets, the jacket offers plenty of storage space for utensils.
Conclusion
So if you want a comfortable and textile classic from the RST TT collection, you can’t go wrong with the IOM Corsby 2. The 100% cotton jacket is available in sizes S to 3XL from 199 euros and is definitely worth it with every single cotton fibre. For us, it is a fully-fledged all-season jacket with slight compromises at higher outside temperatures due to the lack of ventilation.
Germot Jacket Urban Men’s Hunter
The Germot Hunter is in the mid-price segment of jackets. With a purchase price of around 250 euros, it is also very well equipped. Its features include being waterproof and windproof as well as breathable, abrasion and tear resistant. Equipped with the HUMAX climate membrane, it is therefore a very good transition jacket. The wearing comfort is comparable to that of the RST, while the Halvarssons is lighter overall but also has a tighter cut.
Safety
The Germot Hunter is also equipped with the latest generation of elbow and shoulder protectors and should be supplemented with a back protector when purchasing. It can also be adjusted at the waist and sleeves and thus customised. Of course, it also has a connecting zip as an additional safety feature.
Usability
The Hunter is a jacket suitable for touring in temperatures between 15 and 35 degrees. Unfortunately, it does not have a corresponding inner lining, which would extend its range of use even further. Compared to the other jackets, the ventilation zips are more effective, which is a particular advantage in warmer temperatures. It also has various pockets. A total of 4 outer pockets and a waterproof inner pocket. The material differs significantly from the RST and is 100% polyester in all areas.
Conclusion
The Germot Hunter is a versatile motorbike jacket in a classic style with good features. The fit is comfortable yet sporty. In terms of colour, Germot stays on the line, as the jacket is available in sizes M to 5XL in heritage olive green and elegant black. It is also worth its price in every respect.
At the end of a test like this, what counts with all jackets is of course personal comfort and not every jacket is right for every rider. From our point of view, each of the three has its merits, but also potential upside, which makes it completely impossible to define a ranking. Unfortunately, as with so many items of clothing in the motorbike sector, we also miss the women’s versions here.
With this in mind, have fun testing them for yourself and enjoy the 2025 season.
